San Francisco Hop On Hop Off and Half Day Wine Tour

This San Francisco combination tour lets you see the very best of the city and then takes you to Northern California's premier wine producing region. Enjoy the flexibility of a San Francisco hop-on hop-off bus tour, during which you can explore the city at your own pace. Buses conveniently run all day, so you can rejoin this San Fran tour whenever you're ready to ride from one stop to another. When you're ready to go beyond the city's attractions and head for the lush hills of the nearby wine country, join your guide for a half day of exploration and tastings in Sonoma.

This San Francisco tour shows you the city's most popular attractions, such as Fisherman's Wharf, where you can sample chocolate at the Ghirardelli Square, visit the Maritime National Historical Park, or shop and dine at Pier 39. If you love farmers markets, head to the Ferry Building, where rows of fresh produce, cheeses, and jams are available, straight from local farms and dairies. Walk around Chinatown for an authentic array of Asian sights and smells; then head to nearby North Beach, which offers scores of Italian restaurants and shops. Hop off the bus at whichever locations interest you most; then hop back on when you're ready to continue.

When you want to tour beyond the city, surround yourself in the beauty and craftsmanship of California's famed wine country on this fun and relaxing small group tour of Carneros and Sonoma. Relish the region's most admired wines as you spend a half day hopping between wineries and touring these historical appellations. Begin your wine tour in San Francisco and head north through the city, over the Golden Gate Bridge, and through Marin County on your way to the scenic and historic Carneros wine region in the town of Sonoma. Along the way, your guide will narrate this small group tour, bringing California's wine country to life with stories of its rich history and viticultural development. Learn the artisanal processes still used today to make Sonoma's wide array of highly vaunted wines, while tasting the best the region has to offer.

This fully guided tour of Sonoma's most admired wineries will enchant you with a half day of tasting and sightseeing. Tastings at a winery are included on this half day tour of California's wine country. This tour features wineries in Sonoma County that span from larger mass production operations to the smaller, more unique boutiques. There also will be some free time to enjoy historic Sonoma Plaza. There's something for anyone who enjoys a good glass of wine on this unforgettable San Francisco wine tour. Combine this sightseeing adventure with an official city hop on - hop off bus tour for a comprehensive and enchanting look at Northern California's best attractions.

We focus on smaller groups visiting more interesting and authentic locations using more personalized local operators. While the cruise lines are experts in delivering cruises, we are experts in delivering shore excursions.

Search for "Private Tours" if you are interested in this experience. Our "Scenic" tours provide up close and personal access to some of the most spectacular natural environments on Earth from majestic glaciers in Alaska to spectacular reefs in the Caribbean. Our "Cultural" tours allow customers to experience local customs, entertainment and culinary delights ranging from tribal dances in Alaska to an outstanding local meal in Santorini, Greece. Our "Active" tours offer a multitude of exciting and adventurous ways to experience our destinations. Our customers can kayak the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, hike to a spectacular waterfall in Hawaii, or bicycle through quaint villages in France. Our "City" tours allow travelers to see the highlights of great cities around the world with unique insights provided by our expert tour guides.
